What does this mean? I meet someone I'm totally compatible with. We have everything in common-- work field, church, hobbies, similar concerns, parents from the same cities, etc. The only problem is that he's very boring. If we're exactly alike, I'm worried I'm also boring. The logic looks like:
If Hazel= Legend, and
If Legend= boring,
Then Hazel = boring

hmmm.... reminds me of a friend who once complained that her boyfriend was just too vanilla. I responded that it was better than rocky road. She liked that. who knows? but, Hazel Cade, I would not say you are boring! And, if you are interested and interesting, how can that be boring? And to whom would it BE boring? Certainly not to each other. And who cares about everyone else?! :)
Thanks friend for the encouraging words! I have to say I like a man with flavor. Maybe not rocky road, but vanilla has to have some sauce to be worth it.
Hazel=fun AND interesting
Who could want a better combo than that?
Sometimes the most compatible person on paper just doesn't line up in real life.
Vanilla is good only with a delectable, spoon licking good chocolate sauce on top. :)
hmm... I have to say I like a complex unadulterated scoop of vanilla myself! :) But, of course, to each her own.
No offense Suz. I do like a good scoop of vanilla, with flecks of bean for good character. I'd definitely take vanilla over rocky road, chubby hubby, or jamaican me crazy sorbet.
Didi- I'm thrilled to see you here! Is there a blog? Lately, I'm liking Chunky Monkey.
truly no offense taken... just reflecting...actually on true ice cream preferences, really! :)
Now in way of men... hmmm. no comparable ice cream flavor I can think of at the moment.
